Classes.

We offer Aikido classes for adults and children aged 6 and above – for beginners and in the Aikikai style.

After the opening bow, the adult class begins with a progressive warm-up designed to prepare the joints and muscles. This is followed by partner practice of techniques, with students alternating the roles of uke (the one who attacks and receives the technique) and tori (the one who performs it). Each technique is practised four times, two on each side of the body, before the partners switch roles. In addition, students practise movement, falls (ukemi), and technical sequences, which in some sessions may be done using training weapons such as the jo or bokken. The class ends with a closing bow.

The children’s class follows a similar structure, adapted to their age. After the opening bow and a dynamic warm-up, learning takes place through games and playful exercises that introduce the basic movements of Aikido. Many activities are inspired by animals to make learning easier and to keep the children engaged. The class concludes with a final bow.
