Juan Pablo González Sensei
Juan Pablo González Sensei began practicing martial arts at the age of six and discovered Aikido in 2007 after training in Karate, Tae Kwon Do, and Boxing. He has trained with Domingo Miranda, Jeven Moravick, Arlene Mendibles, Vince Salvatore Sensei, and Yesid Sierra Sensei; and solidified his practice at Florida Aikikai under the guidance of Peter Bernath Shihan (8th Dan) and Penny Bernath Shihan (7th Dan).
He received his first Shodan in Aikido in 2011 and Nidan in 2014 at unaffiliated dojos; subsequently, he received his Shodan at Aikikai in 2017 and Nidan at Aikikai in 2021.
In 2024, he received his Aikikai Sandan (3rd Dan) as a student of Peter Bernath Shihan at Florida Aikikai, following the teachings of Master Yoshimitsu Yamada Shihan (8th Dan). He currently resides in Malaga, Spain, where he teaches classes focusing on solid foundations (Kihon), natural flow (Ki-no-Nagare), centered movement, honest connection; and etiquette that reflect the spirit of Aikido: the Art of Peace.
